How to use this utility

File mode digits represent read (4), write (2) and execute (1) for owner, group and others. The leading digit controls setuid, setgid and the sticky bit. For example, 0755 means owner rwx and group/others r-x. Special bits require additional review because they affect execution or deletion behavior. This tool generates a reference command; it never runs commands or changes file permissions. Verify ownership, filesystem type, and the security implications before running chmod.
